What We Provide
More than just training. A complete support system.
Free Training
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, gymnastics, acrobatics, kickboxing, boxing, parkour, and more. Six days a week with world-class instruction.
Gear & Equipment
Every student receives their own Gi, rash guards, shorts, and all necessary training equipment — completely free.
Transportation
Daily safe transportation to and from the academy ensures no child misses training due to lack of access.
Mentorship
One-on-one guidance, life skills development, and positive role models who care about each student's success.
School Supplies
Backpacks and school supplies provided to students to support their education and set them up for success.
Holiday Support
Christmas parties, holiday gifts, and special events throughout the year to bring joy and celebrate our community.
Disaster Relief
Shelter operations, First responder support and essential goods replenishment for victims during national emergencies.
Food Bank Operations
Providing hot meals to area homeless and families in need during crisis.

Ongoing Household Support Initiative
Hero is a collection and redistribution center for lightly used household goods and clothing. We regularly accept donations of these items and redistribute them to families in our program.

Disaster Recovery and Support
Our staff regularly donates emergency equipment for local volunteer first responders as well as stepping up in times of need for local families who are affected by annual flooding and fires.

2020 COVID-19 Relief
The Hero Academy network stepped up and donated food and resources to aid the local community during the economic crisis. What started as an immediate need to provide for families within the Hero Kids program became a full-fledged disaster relief operation.

• Support for homeless and less fortunate in the area

2017 Hurricane Nate Relief
After Hurricane Nate hit the area in 2017, many local communities experienced widespread flooding. Families within our program were displaced from their homes. Hero Academy was turned into a temporary shelter.
