Local Tips
Simple beach rules
Driving & parking
Do not leave bags, phones, wallets, or passports visible in the car. Keep beach days simple and bring only what you need.
Ocean safety
Conditions vary. Some beaches have stronger currents, rocks, changing tides, or surf zones. When in doubt, ask locals before swimming.
Sun & water
Sunscreen, water, sandals, and a dry bag go a long way. The sun is stronger than most visitors expect.
