Coach Giveaway Rules
Campaign Dates:
Entries are open now through April 29 at 11:59 PM (EST). Winners will be announced on April 30.
Prizes:
• 1 Grand Prize: Full Hero Retreat (training + hotel) — approx. $1,999 value
• 1 Second Prize: Training-only retreat spot — approx. $799 value
How Entries Work:
Entries are earned by supporting your coach and helping build momentum around their nomination:
• Submit the nomination form → 10 entries
• Comment + tag your coach and gym on the official giveaway post → 5 entries
• Share the giveaway to your Instagram story and tag @herobjjretreats → 5 entries
How Winners Are Selected:
This is not a simple “most entries wins” contest.
Entries determine which coaches gain the strongest support and visibility. Final winners are selected based on a combination of:
• Total entries and engagement
• Strength of community support
• Quality and consistency of nominations
This ensures the most deserving and supported coaches rise to the top.
Eligibility:
• Open to participants worldwide
• Coaches must be actively coaching students in a gym or academy setting
• Participants must be 18+ to enter
• Travel to Costa Rica is not included
Instagram Verification:
• Comments and tags must be made on the official Hero giveaway post
• Story shares must tag @herobjjretreats to be counted
• Private accounts may be asked to provide a screenshot for verification
• Only valid, visible actions will be counted
Ties & Duplicate Entries:
• Duplicate or spam entries may be removed
• In the event of a tie, additional factors such as engagement quality and nomination strength will be used to determine the winner
• Hero Academy reserves the right to make final decisions in all cases
