Recently, HERO BJJ has partnered with even more world class talent and coaches for our Retreats to help drive impact for our charity.
You see, every time you and your friends book a retreat, a percentage of proceeds directly fund our youth programs.
Our programs provide everything from unlimited free Jiu Jitsu classes for local kids and teens, we’re able to provide 100% free uniforms and we’re even able to provide daily free transportation.
But all this is only possible with the help of our BJJ community and individuals like you.
As you can probably imagine, life is a bit different growing up as a boy or girl in Tamarindo and there isn’t a lot of economic or educational opportunity.

What Your BJJ Training Look’s Like
Most HERO retreats are 4 days and 3 nights. Each day is filled with an average of two training session, one in the morning. and one in the afternoon.
This helps allow for plenty of time to have a blast checking out all of the additional activities to do in Costa Rica.
